Sunday School

Our Sunday School hour is an important, time honored tradition that allows children, youth, and adults to take a deeper look at God’s Word and learn how it applies to our everyday lives. We offer classes for adults and children of all ages. 
 

Children’s Church

Children ages 4 thru 3rd grade gather for a time of Bible lessons, singing and craft during the Sunday Morning worship hour.
 

Home Groups

Fellowship and friendships are cultivated at home group meetings, which usually meet once a month. These informal groups provide an environment for discipleship yet allows the freedom for each group to focus on specific needs within the group. Our Home Groups also have the opportunity to do outreach in their neighborhoods as doors open.

Kidz Club

From approximately September thru May each year, children can participate each Wednesday evening in this popular church program. Our building comes alive with the sounds and excitement of this good ministry!
 

Nursing Home

One of the most overlooked and often forgotten segments of our culture are the residents in nursing facilities. We provide an afternoon service of music, testimonies and a message from God's Word that enables our church to be an encouragement to senior adults at BrookHaven in Brookville.  Our mission is simply to share the love of Christ and the hope of the gospel through Christ.

Special Projects

Throughout the year we seek opportunities to serve others and share Christ’s love. For example, several times each year we collect donations for the Dayton Gospel Mission to provide for those in need in our own city. One month the women of the church provided baked goods for the Victory Project and have plans to reach out to our local fire and police departments. The congregation was recently given the opportunity to provide critical items needed for the medical clinic at Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago. A team of volunteers traveled to the “Old Lighthouse” to deliver these important items. Of course, the purpose behind all of our efforts in these projects remains the same: that the Gospel of God’s Grace would be clearly communicated to those on the receiving end.
 

Vacation Bible School

Each summer we host a VBS for children ages 3 to 6th grade. Usually conducted in the evening hours, the week not only is filled with fun and excitement for the children, but more importantly provides each child with solid Biblical teaching on a particular theme from God’s Word. The children are also given opportunity to be involved in a special ministry project to our community or a missionary.
